You can access my news server through a web interface by clicking on 'Dnews' in the menu above or by following this link. Posting however is only allowed for Chello.nl users.

Chello.nl users can also access Dnews directly using an ordinary newsreader like Outlook Express or Netscape Messenger. Under Windows, with Outlook Express for example, all you have to do is to follow this link. Your news reader automatically opens with all the groups available at my server ready for you to (ab)use ;-)

To set things manually, if your newsreader supports secured connections:

Use scorpion77.cjb.net as newsserver. No username or password are required but you have to enable 'secured' or 'SSL' in your newsreader settings. Besides this you also have to make sure that instead of the standard port for usenet port 563 is used.
